18 Aug Programme MPArt 9
One month is left until the 9th Mill of Performing Arts – SYNTHESIS, the festival co-organised by the Mayoralty of Culture and Sciences of Larissa and SMouTh, and we are pleased to announce the programme of this year’s events!
Dance, theatre, music theatre, inclusive theatre, performance, screenings of performing arts films and live concerts compose the 10-days programme and invite Larissa’s audience to occupy the venues of Pappas Mill and other emblematic spaces of the city from the 15th to the 25th September 2022. The festival is implemented for the 2nd year jointly with Volos Festival and Trikala Commedy Festival, with shared events and SYNTHESIS as their shared theme, with the support of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Region of Thessaly and Onassis Stegi.
As SYNTHESIS suggests -and so do the contempoprary culture trends- the boundaries between the arts and artistic disciplines are getting less visible, more flexible and constantly re-identified: where does theatre end and dance start? when dance becomes a performance? what is a concert and what a music performance?
The brackets following the title of each event let them be considered just as the starting point of our familiarisation with the multi-aspect work of the more than 100 artists partcipating in MParT 9.
