From Silence to Music

From Silence to Music

SMOUTH presents the dance performance From Silence to Music on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24, at 20:00, at SYNERGEIO Culture Space (22 Oik. Ex Oikonomon St.).

The performance is a free adaptation of the story The Magic Violin by Marivita Grammatikaki. Through this story, we aimed to speak to children—but also together with them—about the precious value of freedom, the power of peaceful coexistence, and the need to accept others with respect, without fear or exclusion.

This performance marks the culmination of yet another creative educational year, full of expression, knowledge, collaboration, and artistic exploration. Through music, dance, and theatrical play, the children share with the audience a story that highlights the power of human beings and art to change the world.

We would like to thank visual artist Eleni Kalampaliki for her creations, the parents for their trust and cooperation, and above all the children for everything we shared, created, and dreamed together throughout this year.

We look forward to meeting again in September, with the wish to continue making art a way of life, expression, and communication.
