If you are 18-35 years old and want to learn or develop how to teach your art, then the R&R Peer Coach Academy is your next step!
💡 What is the Peer Coach Academy?
Since 2008, the international network ROOTS & ROUTES has been creating spaces where young artists can learn how to pass on their knowledge as peer coaches – that is, peer trainers, or mentors who work with groups, through art, personal experience and the power of community. Participation in the academy is just the first step in a months-long practical journey that will lead to certification for new peer coaches in the ROOTS & ROUTES network.
The program offers:
1) The full training
2) Certificate of Participation
In this year’s Academy, which takes place in Larissa, we will work on four main axes:
- Art Pedagogy
- General pedagogical principles, inclusion & group management
- Organising, managing and promoting arts projects
- Coordination of community art practices
🔎 Who is it for?
To young people aged 18-35 whο:
- Are involved in an art form (dance, music, theatre, media, or intercultural approaches)
- Want to organise workshops, actions or festivals in the future
- Are interested in collaboration, expression, social change
