Love Letters

SMouTh presents Love Letters, the celebrated play by A. R. Gurney, in a new production directed by Costas Lamproulis. The premiere will take place on March 6th 2026, and performances will continue every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until March 29th.

The Play
Love Letters tells the story of two people who meet as children and continue to communicate throughout their lives through letters. For nearly fifty years, their correspondence becomes the one constant bond between two lives that move in very different directions — shaped by marriages, ambitions, successes, failures, and unfulfilled desires.
Beneath its simplicity, the play speaks about the passing of time, about what is said and what remains unspoken, about a love that endures even when life keeps postponing it. With no external action and no theatrical spectacle, it relies entirely on the power of language and memory, inviting the audience to fill in the silences.
