New SMouTh workshops in the National Opera

SMouTh’s workshops in the Greek national Opera, in the framework of accessibility activities “All together in the Opera” have started with enthusiasm and full participation.

SMouTh’s coordinators Costas Lamproulis, Despoina Bounitsi, Filippos Zoukas and Antonia Trikalioti, joint by specialised collaborators will implement the the trainings of the project in two hands-on workshops, “Composition and Inclusion”and “Aesthetics of Access” starting this February and lasting until April 2022.

The groups created have met for the 1st time inside the NGO facilities in SNF Cultural Center, expressing the need for communication, synergy, as well as the apetite to investigate and co-create.

The aim of the training program is to familiarise participants with a series of methods and practices that encourage, allow for and reinforce the collective creation within mixed groups, the development of new, accessible expressive means and immediately accessible performing pieces, as well as the highlighting of inclusion as an opportunity for an “Aesthetic of Access”.
