Body Shining Joint Staff Training in Bari

Dimitra Zacharouli, Despoina Bounitsi and Lydia Pantziou travelled to Bari, Italy, to attend the 5-days training event of Body Shining project (Erasmus+). The project aims at raising awareness about and at confronting the practice of body shaming among youngsters, as well as at the promotion of the idea of body positivity.

Participating trainers from the 5 project partners had the opportunity to present, test and further develop their ideas on methods to prevent body shaming through art-based activities and to plan the next steps of the project in a local and EU level.

5 cultural organisations collaborate for the project: MOH – Mobility Opportunities Hub / Italy (coordinator), Elan Interculturel / France, Фондация Асоциация Анимус/Animus Association Foundation/ Bulgaria, University of Atypical/ UK-N. Ireland and Synergy of Music Theatre/ Greece.
