13 Mar Intercultural theater workshop by the Alrahallah Theatre group
SMouTh is very excited to host in Larissa the Intercultural theater workshop by Alrahallah Theatre group, one of EX.TRE.M project’s workshop (EXcellence in TheaTRE with Migrants) which has been initiated in 2024.
The workshop will take place at SYNERGEIO Culture space on Wednesday 18th of March at 4.00pm-6.30pm, and is addressed to professionals working in the field of inclusion and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. It will be conducted in English, with translation available into Greek, French, and Arabic.
At 7.00pm the presentation of the EXTREM project results will follow. Members of the consortium will present the Protocol for collaboration between theater groups and artists with youth groups of migrant/refugee background, as developed through the partners’ two-year practical research, along with educational videos and short documentaries produced during the process. Also the original board game EXTREMITIES will be presented, a game created to facilitate dialogue among more organizations and professionals in the field of inclusion and interculturalism, and the short performance You love the sun, don’t you? by Teatro Magro.
Admission to the workshop is free.
EX.TRE.M (EXcellence in TheaTRE with Migrants) is an Erasmus + project funded by the Belgian national agency, which aims to use theatre as a tool for social integration and personal development for young people with migrant backgrounds in Europe to address the challenges of inclusion and intercultural dialogue.
