31 Oct ImproLANDS Documentary Screenings
ImproLANDS project has been concluded in Larissa with three screenings of the homonymous documentary. The documentary depicts the progress of the project and the first screening took place within the program of the 12th MPArt festival at SYNERGEIO, culture space on September 21, while the next two screenings were held for different audiences and sparked interesting discussions about rural depopulation, isolation, the role of arts and the power of encounter.
On the 29th of October, the documentary was screened to young artists and representatives organizations in Larissa while the next day, October the 30th, this collective video was screened at Keramidi village as a “return” to its residents.
We would like to thank all the viewers who contributed to the dialogue on the challenges and empowerment of rural communities. We would especially like to thank the residents of Keramidi who once again welcomed us and our work with enthusiasm, warmth and emotion.
