11 Jul SMouTh’s BODY SHINING Art Campaign video is out!
SMouTh proudly presents the video documentary of the creation and presentation of the performance “As I am”, developed in the framework of the BODY SHINING art campaign. The performance was collectively created by a group of artists and young people of Larissa and was presented on April 30th, in the yard of Mill of Pappas in Larissa, as a means to raise awareness and fight the acts of body shaming. Each partner organisation (ANIMUS, ATYPICAL, ELAN, MOH and SMOUTH) developed and implemented an artistic campaign with young people to raise awareness about body shaming in their own city. Creating an art campaign on the topic of body shaming can be a powerful way to raise awareness, challenge societal norms, and promote body acceptance. We will soon publish a toolkit on this topic, in order to equip youth workers with the skills necessary to prepare and create artistic campaigns with young people to raise awareness about the body-acceptance in art.
