ReStory practices exchange in Larissa

From June 7 to 13, 16 artists and educators from 6 countries gathered in Larissa to participate in the ReStory project’s exchange of methodologies and practices. The participants presented and tested at least two practices from each organization aimed at artistic intervention in public spaces, and shared their feedback on each practice and methodology.

These specific practices will be used in the next stages of the project; the city’s young people will have the opportunity to reconnect with the public space they have chosen and engage with it through artistic actions.

In Larissa, the public space selected—based on research into the preferences and needs of the city’s young people—is the Alcazar Park, the city’s largest and perhaps most important park, which is heavily frequented by young people and holds particular significance for the daily lives of Larissa’s residents.
