Deeply rooted and well hidden

The Synergy of Music Theatre announces the contemporary dance production ”DEEPLY ROOTES and well hidden” by Athena Manoli. The performances will take place at Synergeio culture space and the premiere is scheduled for Friday 24 April at 9.15pm Utilizing a physical vocabulary that shifts between fluidity and restraint, the work raises questions about freedom, choice, and the boundaries that gradually take root within us—often so deep and so well hidden that they are difficult to recognize.

You learn to adapt.
You adapt, you expect, you fall.
You learn to endure.
You learn that wear and tear becomes a necessary condition for entering consciousness.
And perhaps, in the end, a “must” or a “what will others say” determines our path.

In this work, the choreographer presents images, while the viewer is invited to connect them to their own journey, perhaps through their own interpretation. After all, we all get lost in a translation. But one question keeps hanging in the air: Is the stage the backdrop to our journey, or does the backdrop ultimately create our journey?
