Ode to Joy… for Larissa 2021

The action «Ode to Joy» has been an initiative of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Larissa in support of the candidacy
“Larissa – Cultural Capital 2021”.

With the participation of student choirs of: 1st High School of Larissa,  8th High School of Larissa,  12th High School of Larissa, 15th High School of Larissa, Music High School of Larissa, Karavana School and Mpakogianni School and also  the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Larissa, the Student Orchestras DOL “Manolis Kalomiris” and “Dimitris Mitropoulos”, the Male Choir of Musical Association of Larissa (conductor Christos Ktistakis) the female vocal ensemble «InDONNAtion» (conductor Dimitris Ktistakis), the Children and Mixed Choir of DOL (conductor Dimitris Karvounis).  Music direction by Christos Ktistakis. Translation and adaption of the Friedrich Schiller’s poem «Ode an die Freude» and direction by Costas Lamproulis.
