05 Aug MPART 12 FESTIVAL – Program Announcement
The 12th edition of MPART festival (EXIT) is coming with a fresh look and new venues this September in Larissa!
Having entered a new phase of redefinition, where the opportunity for departure and change is synonymous with freedom and rebirth, the Performing Arts Mill “condenses” its name to MPART and announces the groups and productions that will be hosted at this year’s 12th edition from 5 to 21 September 2025 at SYNERGEIO Culture Space and at selected public spaces.
The theme EXIT reflects the need to break out of the narrow confinements that prevent us to view new, clear horizons and try an alternative, decentralised approach to everything that surround us. Our inspiration is the countryside, the villages but also the escape from anything metropolitan.
The organizers of the 12th MPart, after issuing an open call to artists and groups, create this year’s program emphasising on decentralization and representation of the Greek periphery, including also interesting, contemporary proposals from abroad and Athens.
During the festival, the first meeting of theatre companies and performing arts groups from the Greek provinces will take place, with participants from Thessaly, the Aegean islands, Crete, the Peloponnese and other places.
