ImproLANDS – Smouth’s new European cooperation kick-off meeting

After months of preparations, the kick-off meeting of the ImproLANDS project took place last Friday February the 16th. SMouTH’s artistic and research team joined the virtual meeting with great enthusiasm, we got to know the partners from Italy, Spain and Romania and we are looking forward to start working in the field for the project’s goals which involve the empowerment through art and especially the use of improvisation theatre in communities which have been affected by natural disasters, isolation or population collapse.

In the aftermath of the flooding disasters in September 2023 throughout the whole region of Thessaly -including the city of Larissa-, this project’s thematic could not be more relevant and crucial for addressing the need to mobilize art.
