19 Jun I lost my ballet and I’m looking for it
The Synergy of Music Theatre (SMouTh), continuing the cycle of presentations of its educational departments, invites you to the kid’s classical dance show “I lost my ballet and I’m looking for it” on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 June at 21:00 at “SYNERGEIO, Cultural Space”. The performance talks over the joy of personal search, expression, effort and evolution, pursuing to attract children and families to the poetry of classical dance.
The play
A little ballerina feels that something is missing. In her usual routine, she wonders where her ballet is? What story expresses her? Which role suits her? The little ballerina embarks on a fantastical journey through beloved stories of classical dance. She becomes a swan, a wolf, a fiery dancer…each role an adventure, each scene a small discovery. The more she travels, the more the little ballerina understands something important: she doesn’t have to belong to just one story. The most beautiful thing is to dance every day, to perform, to dream and to find through dance what makes her unique.
What do the stories of ballet have to offer us today? Are these stories not just narratives of the past? Do they still inspire us because they connect us to our feelings and dreams?

SMouTh develops an innovative model of non-formal art education, creating a fertile space for dialogue between spontaneous expression and technical training. From pre-school to maturity, SMouTh’s workshops foster intimacy with art and encourage expression, empowerment and skill enhancement within a dynamic community.
At the heart of the educational process is always the human being and his or her unlimited potential as a creator, expresser and participant in a ferment of artistic discovery. Every year, at the end of the educational cycle, the results of the educational process and the artistic development of the trainees are presented, giving the public of the city the opportunity to get to know the methodology and philosophy of the artistic organization.
