06 Jul CulTrees Academy in Larissa
From the 2nd to the 6th of July 2018, CulTrees Academy: Cultivating Openness to Diversity took place in Larissa, under the coordination of SMouTh, aiming to professionalize young artists in the field of adult training using art making methods.
The action was funded by the European program Erasmus+.
Seven partners from seven European countries members of the international network ROOTS & ROUTES International took part in the educational action: Synergy of Music Theatre (Greece/Larissa), Centro di Creazione e Cultura (Italy/Florence), Les Têtes de l’ Art (France/Marseille), Roots & Routes Cologne e.V. (Germany/Cologne), Stichting Roots & Routes (Netherlands/Rotterdam), Subjective Values Foundation (Hungary/Budapest), Kaunas Cultural Centre of Various Nations (Lithuania/Kaunas).
21 adult trainers participated in various workshops, including dance, theatre, music, poetry-lyrics making, writing, art, circus, pantomime and contemporary installation, aiming at the exchange of good educational practice for the development of the Basic Skill “Cultural Awareness and Expression”, according to the European Reference Framework – ERF.
Through the workshops and the following feedback and evaluation process, a methods and techniques tank was created, which will serve as a basis for the further CulTrees actions in the participant countries.
