The Synergy of Music Theatre (SMouTh) organizes a short cycle of aerial acrobatics workshop with Milena Lamprouli.
Aerial acrobatics is a special combination of sport and art that emerged from the circus arts and developed into a distinct artistic practice. Aerial acrobatics workshops offer a memorable experience for participants, combining a range of acrobatic movements, flexibility, conditioning and dance. The purpose of this workshop is to build a solid foundation in basic sling techniques. The short cycle consists of three parts and will be held on three different dates, and each part can be attended independently. The workshop cycle will conclude with a choreography which will incorporate everything practiced during the three workshops.
PROGRAM
Sunday 6 April, 17.30-20.00: Spin Stretch & Acrobatics
Sunday 13 April, 17.30-20.00: Flexibility Tricks and Drops & Poses
Wednesday 16 April, 17.30-20.00: Choreography
The workshop is addressed to people aged 17+. Experience in aerial acrobatics is not a prerequisite.
Participation fee: 25€ (for one admission) or 60€ (for the whole cycle, three admissions)

THE INSTRUCTOR
Milena Lamprouli is an experienced aerial acrobatics instructor and has taught aerial acrobatics to both children and adults since 2020. She has been involved in aerial yoga since a young age, she was certified as an instructor in 2019 and was introduced to the field of aerial acrobatics through the Skycrew group based in Kalamata. She participates in events and festivities expressing her love and passion for the subject, a love that she wants to pass on to her students, revealing to them the magic and beauty of the sensation that anyone who “flies” on the silks acquires.
