Rhytmic activity for people with disabilities

The Synergy of Music Theatre was delighted to respond to the invitation of the Centre of Creative Activity ”Support” and organise a body percussion activity addressed to people with disabilities. The workshop, which took place at the pavilion of the organization during the Pinios Festival, on Thursday 20th of June, was attended by children, teenagers and adults with disabilities, as well as by their animators/assistants and members of SMouTh team. Under the guidance of SMouTh’s instructor/coordinator Filippos Zoukas, a circle was created by the participants in which rhythm playing was developed, where each person expressed themselves through the body movements and the sounds it produced, combining rhythmic commands and movement turns, spontaneous individual expression and communication. We would like to thank for the invitation the manager of the Centre of Creative Activity, Maria Tsigrou, along with everyone who embraced with enthusiasm and energy this outdoor kinetic activity and reinforced the spirit of teamwork and cooperation. We really enjoyed it.
