10 Mar Improvisational theatre techniques in Keramidi village
The group of SMouTh artists continues the visits to Keramidi village within the ImproLANDS project which aims to use in order to promote well-being in communities that have suffered natural disasters, depopulation and/or isolation.
The small café of the village, which is the meeting place for residents, reopened in order to become a space of play and creation for all the local participants who welcomed us once again with warmth and lots of smiles. Last year’s floods were a collectively difficult experience that residents, as we see, start to face with acceptance, optimism and cooperation thanks to the contribution of a sequence of theatre workshops.
ImproLANDS project aims to shape collective experiences that positively connect people, the arts and surrounding environments, whereby improvisational theatre constitutes the binding element for a newfound social cohesion and sense of belonging.
ImproLANDS partnership consists of the following institutions:
Accademia 56 | Ιtaly
Las Cosas que Hacemos | Spain
Shoshin Theatre Association | Romania
SMouth | Greece
