27 Jan Walking in the Woods
The Synergy of Music Theatre (S.Mou.Th.) in collaboration with the Mayoralty of Culture and Science of the Municipality of Larissa, presents “Walking in the Woods” by Stella Michailidou, a play for children, opening on Sunday, February 1st at 11:30 am, at the OUIL Theatre in Larissa.
“Walking in the Woods” is a unique journey through several classic fairy tales, an intertextual tale, playing with the ages and contemporary reality. Red Riding Hood will meet beloved fairy tales heroes, will experience unknown adventures, “Walking in the Woods” and facing misunderstandings, misadventures and finally her own fears. She will be left alone, she will give her first kiss, she will lose her freedom and -as every child- she will try to find out what she really is and where she belongs, while everything and everybody in her trip are so confusing!
The premier of the performances will be held on Sunday, February 1st at OUIL Theatre (A. Gazi & Koumoundourou). Performances will be given for schools and organised groups, every day from Monday to Friday. Other scheduled performances for the public: February 8th & 15th & March 1st at 11:30 in the morning.
For schools outside Larissa that faces difficulties to transport pupils to the theatre, the possibility is offered to perform at school or any other convenient stage, upon request.
